Woodwork & Fine Arts Exports 2004 will be organized professionally from September 29th to October 3rd in HCMC on a large scale.
Director of HCMC Department of Trade said the fair will be a show of fine arts woodworks of 170 enterprises in the city, South East, Central and Highland provinces with a diversification of products and supply sources. The fair is also an opportunity for the wood industry to seek contracts for exporting wood to the global market.
Participating in supporting the fair organization, there are Vietnam Trade Transaction to America, Canada, international organizations such as Wood Processing Association of Malaysia and Singapore, internationally prestigious trade journals such as US Furniture Today, Furniture-Furnishing Export International (Singapore).
Vietnam has a great potential for exporting wooden furniture with the export turnover of over USD 560 million in 2003. Only in the first six months of 2004, the turnover reached approximately USD 500 million.
